  • 1 1/2 cups of whole milk
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tbls good quality honey
  • 1/2 tbls vanilla
  • 1/4 cup Frangelico liqueur
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 loaf challah bread
  • butter

In a shallow bowl whisk together  eggs ,milk ,honey , Frangelico, vanilla, cinnamon and salt. Slice challah bread and soak in egg mixture. Melt butter in a large skillet and cook bread until golden brown.

Berry Sauce

  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 1 cup raspberries
  • 1 cup sliced strawberries
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 tbls water

Combine berries, sugarand water in a saucepan and cook over low heat until berries are softened and the liquid thickens.

To serve: Spoon sauce over French Toast slices and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
